Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about recording your reading…
Do you keep track of what and/or how many books you read? How long have you been doing this? What’s your favorite tracking method, and why? If you don’t keep track, why not?
I started keeping track of what books I read in May of 2006 with just a numbered list and a rating between 1 and 5 stars. I also have a list of all the series I’m currently reading, what the most recent one I’ve read is, and, if I’m all caught up, when the next one will be released.
I’ m also on GoodReads.com, but my to-read list is absolutely out of control. I keep it updated well, though. Here’s my profile.
I started this blog last fall, but it doesn’t really help me keep track of books. If anything, it makes it more complicated, because now I have to factor review books and blog tours into the mix.

I started keeping track of what I read since I started my blog.
I started keeping track of my books when I first started going online in the early 90’s. It’s been great for me.
I keep a notepad document on my desktop and a notebook which I cross off as a review.
