I enjoy doing a lot of things, but some of my favorite things I haven’t done in over a year.

  1. Go on a real vacation
  2. Work on my scrapbooks
  3. See a movie by myself
  4. Sleep ’til after noon
  5. Take a cruise

Okay, I’ve never actually been on a cruise, but I bet I’d love it. And we have a vacation planned for June.

I actually do the things I love on a regular basis. I play the piano, read, take pictures, write, visit museums, zoos, amusement parks, go to baseball games, eat spaghetti, spend time with family and friends. We find time to do the things we enjoy.

What about you? What’s something you love to do that you haven’t gotten to in the last year?

  • I haven’t had a vacation in ages but what I’d really like to do is be able to take a whole afternoon and do nothing but read. Since getting Sammy that’s been impossible! Lol.

  • My last trip was to South Dakota last August. We talked about taking one in the fall or even December but was just too hard to plan with the pregnancy.

Cruising is AMAZING. Love traveling that way. But we’re kind of power travelers–don’t like to stay in one place for too long so it works for us.

I love that you do so many things you love regularly! We should make the time!

  • I took time off of work last year but stayed in town. I don’t remember the last time I actually went somewhere.

I did go to the movie by myself for the first time in years last week. I enjoyed myself so much that I saw two of them, Atlas Shrugged and Scream 4, I loved them both.

  • I have begun the process of reclaiming my dining room table so I can return to scrapbooking. I’m horribly behind. I won’t tell you how far behind I am. It’s awful. And lately, I’ve started missing it. Time to do something about it.

  • I am so glad that you are doing the things you love to do…that makes life happy…don’t you think? I think I am doing what I want…I wanted to stop teaching in order to be free and that is what I am doing. Have a happy day!!!

  • Taking yourself on a solo movie outing (Or a SMO, as I like to call it) sounds great. And sleeping ’til past noon sounds like a heavenly plan. Or at least staying in bed and reading until noon!

I used to love going to the movies by myself, but with Gage I’m pretty sure those days are over for awhile 🙂 As is sleeping in til noon.
