24 hour read a thon sml

It’s Read-a-thon time! It’s Read-a-thon time!

I’m getting a bit of a slow start this morning, but I played Euchre a little bit later than I wanted to last night and when my alarm went off I ignore it and slept for another two hours.

About me:

1 What fine part of the world are you reading from today? Eastern Ohio. Today’s a bit cold by sunny.

2 Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? I don’t know. Part of the problem is I don’t really have a plan, just choosing books/stories willy-nilly.

3 Which snack are you most looking forward to? Pizza for dinner. We’ve been on a bit of a diet and haven’t had pizza for a while. But did you know it’s also National Pasta Day, which may mean spaghetti for lunch.

4 Tell us a little something about yourself! I’m 40. I read mostly mysteries, with the occasional romance or fantasy. I have a wonderful husband and daughter who have promised to leave me alone today and a dog who probably won’t. My real job is at an insurance agency, but I’m also a church organist, so I’ll probably head out this afternoon for an hour or two to play.

5 If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? I have participated before and have learned that reading some short things is nice and helps with the sense of accomplishment.

I’m not sure how often I’m going to do updates, but you can also find me on Twitter and Instagram today.
