24 hour read a thon sml

I happened to wake up, so thought I’d fill the end of event survey out quickly. Forgive my spelling.

1 Which hour was most daunting for you? I went to bed around hour 18.

2 Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? I think next year I should have more short romances and maybe a graphic novel or two.

3 Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? No

4 What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon? For me, everything worked well. I enjoyed it.

5 How many books did you read? I finished 3 books and 3 shorter stories

6 What were the names of the books you read?

The Quick by Lauren Owen
Candy Corn Murder by Leslie Meier
Morning in the Burned House by Margaret Atwood
“The Murders in the Rue Morgue” by Edgar Allan Poe
“The Purloined Letter” by Edgar Allan Poe
“Gingerbread Kisses” by Beate Boeker

7 Which book did you enjoy most? Suprisingly, “Gingerbread Kisses.” It was short and sweet.

8 Which did you enjoy least? The Quick.

9 If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders? n/a

19 How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time? Very, depending on the day. They are always so close to my hubby’s birthday in April and our anniversary in October that sometimes it just doesn’t work. I’d be a reader again.

And now I’m going back to bed for an hour or so. Hope everyone had fun!

  • Sounds like a fun readaton! I love to participate but Jason’s birthday is in April and we have 3 celebrations in October (Saturday was our anniversary) so the timing rarely works out 🙁
