Liberty Magic – Pittsburgh

Liberty Magic – Pittsburgh

My husband's birthday was this past weekend and I surprised him with tickets to Lee Terbosic's show at Liberty Magic in downtown Pittsburgh. Liberty Magic just opened in February of this year, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The theater is small, with less than 70 seats. The show is geared for those 18+, but children as young as 12 are permitted. There were a couple of kids in the audience around that 12 age when we went, and while a couple of jokes probably (hopefully) went over their heads, there was nothing that was totally inappropriate. It may vary by the magician, but I would have had no problem bringing a young teen to the show we saw. Murder on Pointe by C. S. McDonald

Murder on Pointe by C. S. McDonald

C. S. McDonald had a table at a craft fair my mom and I went to before Christmas, and of course, book tables always draw my attention. When they get back, however, they discover that one of the other dancers has been murdered. Silja's not a suspect, but handsome Detective Landy finds out that Fiona used to be a dancer, so he convinces her to join the cast and...

Le Mont

Le Mont

I wrote out my bucket list in 2011, since then I've added a few things and accomplished a few things. There was valet parking, which is always a plus in Pittsburgh. The view is as special as the food. The restaurant is on Mount Washington overlooking Pittsburgh, and we had a table by the window. David and I both ordered off the Autumn Celebration Menu. All the food was delicious, especially my chicken. The lighting was pretty dim, it's a romantic, fancy place after all, so I did the best I could with the photos. And one final picture of the inside, because I loved it. We had a wonderful evening. I'm hoping to go back again sometime, but it's definitely an "occasion" restaurant, at least for us....
