It’s Election Day here in the US, which means an end to all the calls and ads and junk mail. Oh, and we may or may not have a new president in 2013 and, locally, our schools may or may not get the funding they need. Since today’s Top Ten list is a “pick whatever topic you want,” I was thinking of election books and president books. Here’s ten, in no particular order. Some I’ve read, some I haven’t.

Election Day Books for Kids

  1. Duck for President by Doreen Cronin
  2. So You Want to Be President? by Judith St. George
  3. The Frandidate by Jim Benton
  4. Vote for Me by Ben Clanton
  5. If I Ran for President by Catherine Stier
  6. See How They Run by Susan E. Goodman
  7. Amelia Bedelia’s First Vote by Herman Parish
  8. Madam President by Lane Smith
  9. Grace for President by Kelly S. DiPucchio
  10. The Election Book: The People Pick a President by Carolyn Jackson
