We’re halfway through the year! I’m actually on track for the Audiobook Challenge, which is hosted by Hot Listens and Caffeinated Reviewer. I’ve listened to 18 and my goal is 30.
Here’s my list so far:
- Christmas Bliss by Mary Kay Andrews
- 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne
- Anatomy of a Scandal by Sarah Vaughan
- Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith
- The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
- Just One Damned Thing After Another by Jodi Taylor
- Enter a Murderer by Ngaio Marsh
- Dear Madam President by Jennifer Palmieri
- The Innocents Abroad: Or, The New Pilgrim’s Progress by Mark Twain
- The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Emmuska Orczy
- Artemis by Andy Weir
- I’ll Be Gone in the Dark by Michelle McNamara
- The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson
- Lock In by John Scalzi
- The Time Machine by H.G. Wells
- Head On by John Scalzi
- The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie
- The Word Is Murder by Anthony Horowitz
I don’t know if I can pick a favorite. I enjoyed a lot of them. My least favorite was probably 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea – it was really boring a lot of the time. Both The Hound of the Baskervilles and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd were rereads for me, which always takes away a little of the surprise in mysteries.
