It’s Labor Day weekend here in the US. We’ve been spending it at the lake, which means plenty of time to relax and read. And we have reliable internet up here too now, which is nice.
What’s are your reading plans this month? Any thing you’re especially looking forward to?

For those interested in the early days of mysteries in the US, I recommend The Vanishing of Carolyn Wells: Investigations into a Forgotten Mystery Author, which I just finished https://tinyurl.com/vsejvtjw
I read that one earlier this year. I’d never heard of Carolyn Wells so it was a really interesting read.
I am excited to finally be reading Sherlock Holmes. In all the years of my reading mysteries I have never started with these. So I’m reading A Study in Scarlet for September. Enjoy your lake time!
