Happy December! Here in Ohio, it's been cold and we've had a little bit of snow on the ground the past couple of days. I'm sometimes a seasonal reader, so expect my links this month to involve Christmas and winter mysteries/thrillers. Okay, I actually started reading Christmas books at the beginning of November. What about you, is your tbr list affected by the time of year?
Leave your December links below or in the comments.
Also, the link up for next year's challenge will be posted today. I hope everyone will join in again.

November around here is always cold and rainy, perfect weather for cuddling up under a blanket with some hot chocolate and a good book. November is also my birthday month and to celebrate, I'm having a cloak and dagger giveaway. The prize will be a $20 gift certificate to the book store of your choice. Each entry in this month's linky or the wrap-up post will get you an entry into the drawing. Good luck!
The giveaway winner is Karen from Baroness' Book Trove.

Happy October! I don't know about you, but I'm in the midst of fall reading - mysteries, of course, but also a touch of horror and fantasy. Do your reading habits change depending on the season?
I admit I'll miss the warmth of summer, but this month is pretty nice in Ohio. The leaves will be beautiful later this month. We'll be spending one weekend at Pymatuning Lake and then later in the month heading to Hocking Hills for our anniversary.

Summer's over, or will be next weekend. I go back to my regular work hours after Labor Day. But my Amber's home from college for the month so that makes me happy.
Anything you're especially looking forward to reading this month? I haven't really been planning ahead much with my reading list lately. What about you, are you a planner or do you just grab whatever catches your attention at the moment?

I can't believe summer is 2/3rds over. There never seems to be enough time to do everything I want to. I have had some extra reading time since things have been pretty quiet at work, which is nice. I've also been watching the Olympics - anyone else?
