I'm heading toward bed. I'll probably read for another half-hour, but I'll go ahead and post my numbers now.
Total reading time: 7 1/2 hours
Books finished: 13 1/2 by Nevada Barr
Pages read: 411
Hope everyone else had a fun weekend....
Okay, it's about 7:00 pm here on Sunday. I've only read 5 1/2 hours so far this weekend, but I have a few hours left this evening. Like I figured, finding time is the tough part. I'll probably only get like 8 1/2 hours of reading in total, but that's way more than on a regular weekend.
I just finished 13 1/2 by Nevada Barr, which was pretty good. Next up is Still Life by Louise Penny....
We're being a few questions this morning.
Five fun facts:
I love mint chocolate chip ice cream.
I'm still in my pajamas and slippers.
I love peppermint smelling soap in the shower, especially in winter.
I'm allergic to grass, which is my excuse to never help mow.
I love the flan the local Mexican restaurant serves.
On my TBR pile: 13 1/2 by Nevada Barr, Still Life by Louise Penny. I've got a shelf full of others if I need to pull something else down.
As far as hopes and plans for the read-a-thon. I'm just hoping to be able to find a lot of reading time. This is my first mystery read-a-thon, and my plan is to just read when I can. I like that the hours are spread out over a couple of days. It's hard to put aside too large blocks of time around here. It seems like there's always something going on. This evening, for example, we're having people over for dinner and cake...
The Mystery Read-a-Thon is this weekend! The idea is to find 12 hours over these two days and dedicate them to reading mysteries. I'm going to be fitting some hours in here, some there.
I'm starting with 13 1/2 by Nevada Barr. I'm counting it as a mystery, although technically it may be more of a thriller. Those lines are always blurry to me....
