Lists for Summer

Image: WagerRun.com

Summer is just around the bend, so I thought it would be a good time to list some things I want to do or to accomplish this summer. Maybe writing them down will actually provide a little extra motivation on some of the not so fun ones. A couple I already have plans in place, but most are still just kind of floating out there.

Have Fun

  1. Play miniature golf
  2. Go canoeing
  3. Lay on the beach
  4. See a movie at the drive-in
  5. Go to Kennywood
  6. Go to a baseball game
  7. Host a cook-out
  8. Watch a softball game
  9. See a play at Brooke Hills
  10. .

Accomplish Something (Yes, David, you have to help with some of them)

  1. Plant the garden and keep it weeded
  2. Work up to being able to jog three miles
  3. Read The Three Musketeers (I could put this under fun, too)
  4. Finish work on the kitchen
  5. Paint the dining room and living room
  6. Wash and clean out my car
  7. Put a couple more perennials in my front flower bed
  8. Write a short story
  9. Clean the house (bleck)
  10. .

One more for each list to make a nice round 10. Any suggestions? What’s in your plans for the summer?

  1. Great list! There are not too many drive ins around these days. When you go maybe you could take a pic or two as I would love to see what yours looks like.

As for my summer plans, go to the beach (it is an annual thing); cookout (we do this lots), pick berries and work in some great summer reads!

  2. stacybuckeye

I would love to go to a drive-in but I don’t know where there is one around here.
You could take a trip to Kelly’s Island. We try to go every year and I’m looking forward to taking Gage this year!

  3. Summer’s just about halfway over and I have 7 things crossed off, which wouldn’t be bad except most of them are fun things. I’m actually failing on the garden one. It needs weeded terribly.
