Today is an “I wish we had…” post. This just caught my eye while I was browsing on-line. It looks like a good game for our family, and a great way to introduce Amber to some beautiful artwork by the masters.

The cards in this game feature 30 of the most beautiful pieces of art ever created by Van Gogh, Renoir, Monet, Degas and Vermeer. Players use these cards to establish the relative value of each artist’s body of work. Unique mechanics and ingenious design make the game play unpredictable, different and fun every time. Revel in the beauty of old masters art, while enjoying the intriguing game of Masters Gallery. (Funagain Games)
I’ve seen this one around as well and I’ve come close to picking it up but havne’t yet.
This looks really cool! But somehow I doubt I’ll be able to convince my husband.
also, I have some happy news for you: I can fix your link back issue; the one that when you leave a comment, your name doesn’t link back to your blog? There’s a blank box in your WP profile. For some reason, WP leaves this blank and I notice this ALL THE TIME with new WP blogs. SO, just put in your blog’s url and save. Should fix it. Try it and come back to my blog and leave a comment and we’ll test it! or email me if I’m not explaining it well.

That looks like an interesting game. I hate going to museums and not knowing what I am looking at as well as hating when people talk about a specific work of art and I can’t recall what it looks like. This game looks like it could help solve that problem.
great pieces of art on cards ..novel idea
