“It’s not every day an art restorer is brutally murdered in the United Kingdom,” Isherwood said. “Given your circumstances, it must have come as something of a shock.”
“Let’s just say I read the stories this morning with more than a passing interest.”
(pg. 38, The Rembrandt Affair by Daniel Silva)
I don’t know how I’ve never read any of Silva’s Gabriel Allon series before. I’m really enjoying this one.
Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Play along. The rules are easy and I only cheated a little. Grab your current read, open to a random page, and give us two teaser sentences. Remember, no spoilers.

I received my copy from the publisher for review and the above is my honest opinion. I am an Amazon associate.
I’ve never read anything by this author.
Here is mine
I’ve heard of the author but haven’t read any of his (his?) books. Enjoy!
Here is my teaser at arch thinking.
Glad I’m not an art restorer! LOL
Here is mine!

That teaser immediately intrigues me! I’d be sooooo interested in a thriller about an art restorer and assassin! I’m going to look for this book for sure. (And interestingly, right now I’m reading a book called “The Black Sun” about a former art thief-turned-sleuth. Must be something in the air!)
So what a great teaser! Meanwhile, my own teaser (though not from “The Black Sun”) is at Bookishgal.
You’ve got me curious now. Will have to look up this book to read more on it.
Thanks for coming by Aisle B π
Wow, don’t know how I missed this one, either! It’s going on my “new finds” list right away. Thanks for the great teaser!
My teaser.
not only have I not read anything by this author…I have never heard of him. But sounds interesting.

I like the dry, almost deadpan humour. Always an interesting foil to a murder, yes? =)
I cannot read anything about this-as I have it on hold at the library-I have read all of his books.
I loved India. Thanks for visiting.
Fantastic teaser!
I’ve never read this author before but I’ve heard good things for a long time.
