It has been cold and dreary this week. I’m sick of it. It just doesn’t feel like April, or maybe it does and I only think April should be warmer. It’s supposed to get up into the 60s and 70s later this week, though, which will make me happy.
I was driving around Tuesday morning. It was gray and rainy, but McConnell’s field looked so green, no cows yet, but it looked ready for the new season. Above it, there was a break in the clouds, letting some light blue sky shine through and it just seemed really pretty to me. The photo was taken through my car window. I did pull off to the side of the road, but my windows are broken and won’t roll down, and I didn’t want to actually get out of the car. It was cold, remember?
That picture looks rather desolate.
That look like spring to me..but then here it’s all snow still 😉
I am so glad we’re done with snow.
This is a great photo Carol. You’re lucky you have green fields – lol – we still have snow on ours. I can understand about wanting the gloom gone – we’ve been chilly here but at least the sun is shining.
Very nice photo Carol!
Recently, I discovered that I don’t like Spring — or at least the time before Memorial Day as it looks pretty, but is still so cold.
Striking photo — it looks like the way I imagine Ireland to be — lush and green!
Really nice photo. It’s not feeling much like spring here either.
Beautiful view. It’s been raining every day this past week here….but April showers birng May flowers 😉
I have to keep reminding myself that we almost always get a snow storm in April. But I’m looking forward to the nice weather this weekend 🙂 Enjoy!
