Actually, this was a hard top ten list to make. Lately I’ve started several series, but just haven’t kept caught up with them. Most of the books on my list have been out for several years, I just haven’t gotten around to reading them. I’m waiting for a few to be published though.
Here they are, in no particular order.
- A Rule Against Murder (Chief Inspector Gamache 4) by Louise Penny
- India Black and the Widow of Windsor (India Black 2) by Carol K. Carr
- Hell and Gone (Charlie Hardie 2) by Duane Swierczynski
- Ashes of a Black Frost (Iron Elves 3) by Chris Evans
- Black Butterfly (Lucifer Box 3) by Mark Gatiss
- Desire Me (Legend Hunters 2) by Robyn DeHart
- The Likeness (Dublin Murder Squad 2) by Tana French
- For the Defense (Barbara Holloway 3) by Kate Wilhelm
- The Power of Six (Lorien Legacies 2) by Pittacus Lore
- Weight of Stone (Vineart War 2) by Laura Gilman
I just started using FictFact to keep track of the series I’m reading- really useful site. My problem sometimes is deciding which series to stick with and which ones to just leave by the wayside.
What sequels are you looking forward to reading?
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
I just got the 2nd India Black book today!
I am looking forward to Chris Evans’ new books too :=) Can’t wait
I definitely have a hard time deciding when to or if to abandon a series. Often times when I’m about to give up on a certain author a new release will be met with great reviews and I just have to keep going!
Oh you know I have the second book here of Chris Evan’s to get into. I do need to get to that one. And I would love to start I am Number Four series too. These are some great books to be waiting on. 🙂 Hope you get to enjoy them all.
I had the 2nd India Black novel on my list too…can’t wait for that one!
I’m usually impatient with series so I steer clear of them; however, I’ve been lured a time or two. The last series which sustained my interest for more than a couple of books was Harry Potter and that seems so long ago now.
I’m the same way. I start series and I love them but then I lose track. I need to look into that fictfact site you posted.
This is why I love stand alone’s you end up with far to many to read and play catch up. I’m really considering Tana French though.
I can’t wait to read Michelle Zinks next book and Chelsea Cain.
I am so bad at reading the first book and really liking it, but never following through with the next one. I’ve gotten very picly about adding a new series. I really, really want to read The WInter Rose, the sequel the The Tea Rose, in the next month or two.
