I’ll be joining in A Winter’s Respite Read-a-Thon, hosted by Michelle at Seasons of Reading. It’s a relaxed read-a-thon that runs from today through Jan. 27, a week of “week of relaxed reading during which we can personally challenge ourselves and whittle away those ever looming TBR piles/shelves/libraries.” It’s as good as excuse as any to spend my evenings reading/listening to books.
The first books on my list are the ones I’m currently in the middle of: False Scent by Ngaio Marsh, The Adventurer’s Guide to Living a Happy Life by Matt Mosteller, and Pray for Silence by Linda Castillo.
I’ll keep a list here of any books I complete/read a portion of. I’m hoping to at least finish those three.
Book(s) I’m currently reading/listening to: Saving Grace by Pamela Fagan Hutchins / The Big Four by Agatha Christie
Approximate total number of pages read: 476
Approximate total amount of time listened: 14 hours 10 minutes
Books I’ve finished:
- The Adventurer’s Guide to Living a Happy Life by Matt Mosteller
- False Scent by Ngaio Marsh
- Pray for Silence by Linda Castillo
- A Question of Belief by Donna Leon
- Vacant Graves by Christopher Beats
Enjoy the read-a-thon Carol 🙂
Glad you’re joining me for the read-a-thon, Carol! I hope you get lots of great reading in this week.
Have fun!
I’m participating too, but definitely have not been as successful as you so far! Hoping to turn it around over the weekend and finish strong!
Looks like I should get a lot of reading done tonight, especially if all this snow keeps up.
