I had a great week of reading/listening to books. I love that week-long read-a-thons give me an excuse to find extra time during the days for books. Thanks, Michelle, for hosting!
I finished five books this week.
- The Adventurer’s Guide to Living a Happy Life by Matt Mosteller (e-book)
- False Scent by Ngaio Marsh (print)
- Pray for Silence by Linda Castillo (audio)
- A Question of Belief by Donna Leon (audio)
- Vacant Graves by Christopher Beats (e-book)
I also started two that I’ll hopefully finish this week.
- Saving Grace by Pamela Fagan Hutchins (print)
- The Big Four by Agatha Christie (audio)
The problem is now this week I have little excuse to read instead of doing laundry.
It’s aways more fun to read than do laundry!
You did have a great reading week!
I did. It was really nice.
You did so great, Carol! Thanks for joining me last week. I hope you will think about joining us for the Spring into Horror RAT in April. Remember, if horror isn’t your thing, you only have to read one scary book and it can be a spooky mystery, thriller, paranormal, etc.
Please let me know if you would like the free ebook copy of John David’s short story (info on the read-a-thon prize page). This is separate from the other prizes. He’s giving away a free copy to all participants. Email me at truebookaddictATgmailDOTcom
I’ll think about the spring one. Horror isn’t my thing, but I might be able to find a spooky mystery or two in my stacks.
Reminds me that we have a winter respite today – it’s raining?
Nice set of books for your challenge.
Here’s my read: Dearest Rose
60 degrees today – I love it. Of course I think we’re looking at the possibility for snow again by Thursday. 🙁
Great job!! You got a lot read!!
