I’m participating in WordPress.com’s Writing201: Poetry that finishes up this week.
“Day 5 is upon us: clear your foggy mind, embrace absence, and paint with words.” This was last Friday’s assignment. The theme was fog, but the style was elegy and the device was metaphor. I kept trying to write an elegy and just had to eventually give up, so we’ve got fog and that’s about it. And I’m not real thrilled with it.
