I’m disappointed I didn’t make my goal this week.
This week:
Thursday – Elliptical
Saturday – Walk with the dog
Monday – Stairclimber and elliptical
Meal plan:
I totally didn’t follow my plan last week. A couple things came up and we ate out or at my mom’s more than I though we would. And had left-overs from my mom’s the next day.
I really have no idea what I’m going to cook this week. Taco salad maybe, something with cabbage, maybe some barbecue chicken. Nothing is sounding particularly delicious.
New Year Fitness Goals:
– Lose weight. Goal – Lose 26 lbs. I’m down 1 lb. (141.4 starting weight)
– Run 2 5ks, 1 10K and 1 half. Complete – None
– Hit my weekly step goal (56,000 steps) for 48 weeks. Weeks completed: 4

Some weeks are like that, I’ve had them and I’m sure we will again this year. But you can plan for a better week now, meals and walking….like that. On the plus side you did get on the elliptical and lost a pound!
Thanks for th moment about the spinach pie. If your daughter doesn’t like spinach cooked in a tradional way, or just raw in a salad, this preparation may be acceptable. The ricotta helps
She wouldn’t actually complain. She’d just pick through it the best she could and be hungry again in an hour.
Taco sallad is always good
I’ve got a cabbage in the fridge. I think I’ll go with a cabbage salad with fennel and a citrusy dressing.
Sounds good. I ended up having chicken chow mein last night and the restaurant we eat at makes it with lots of cabbage. 🙂
