I know excuses don’t count, but I’m giving my excuses anyway. Last week was my birthday and we had a lot going on, between celebrations and a parade and of course we had to see Murder on the Orient Express at the theater. Then yesterday I picked up a cold so skipped out on the gym when my husband asked if I wanted to go. So my steps are LOUSY!
This week’s activities:
Wednesday – Lunges, Pilates
Thursday – Lunges
Saturday – Lunges
Goals for November:
Gym – 4 times (Done: 1 time)
Pilates – 12 times (Done: 6 times)
I’m also going to try the #Lungevember challenge. I’m going with the easy level because lunges are tough!
This week’s dinners:
We ate out a lot this week, a couple times for my birthday and a couple out of convenience.
Tuesday – Shrimp and veggies
Wednesday – Meatball sub and chips (at church)
Thursday – Pastitsio (out)
Friday – Egg and cheese on flatbread (out)
Saturday – Lasagna (at in-laws’)

Meal ideas for next week:
Pork and noodle soup
Hawaiian chicken
Chili
Shrimp fired rice
Thanksgiving dinner will be Thursday at my in-law’s and I think we’ll have dinner at my mom’s one day over the break too.
Year Fitness Goals:
So, I’ve failed at these, but we’ll see by how much at the end of the year.

How was your week? Readers’ Workouts is hosted by Joy at Joy’s Book Blog.
My steps are down because I’m working less now. I really should make them a priority so I at least reach 10,000 day but I’m in an exercise slump.
The weather isn’t helping with my steps. I just don’t feel like walking the dog when it’s chilly.
Shrimp rice sounds yum
Shrimp is the only seafood my daughter will eat.
It’s hard to exercise when you’re sick. I hope you feel better soon.
I managed to get to the gym in the evening. My husband was going so I went along too and just did the elliptical at an easy pace.
Celebrations and illness definitely challenge exercise. I hope you’re feeling better soon.
