July Cloak and Dagger Link-up
Two of the best books I have read in 2024 were mystery/suspense – First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston and Going Zero by Anthony McCarten. Although I don’t usually read books thinking, “Oh, this would make a good movie,” and, in fact, resent it if I feel an author was focusing on future movie rights instead of a strong story, I couldn’t help thinking both of these books would translate to what (used to be?) called the silver screen.
Any other “Best of 2024”?
