View 2013 Where I’m Reading in a larger map
I thought I’d take a look today at where I’ve been reading so far this year, that is where the books I’ve been reading have been set. I’m not doing very well at the Where Are You Reading Challenge.
I’ve only visited 12 countries:
- US
- Barbados
- Costa Rica
- New Zealand
- Australia
- South Africa
- Norway
- Italy
- Germany
- England
- Ireland
- Turkey
I’ve only hit 10 states and territories:
- California
- Arizona
- New Mexico
- Tennessee
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
- New York
- Illinois
- Missouri
- US Virgin Islands
It doesn’t seem like I’ve visited many places. Granted, some of the books I’ve read I haven’t really been able to place the setting on a map, either because it’s entirely fantasy or it’s non-fiction but not about a place or person or thing. My favorite settings so far have probably been the warm, sunny ones.
Time to pack your bags and hit the literary road!
Wow. That’s one thing I don’t think I’d have the patience to do. Then again, I’m more of a fantasy reader, so I tend to not read of this world anyway.
Yeah, fantasy and sci-fi don’t fit well. How about an “other worlds” list?
That’s cool 😀 I have not wandered that much
Not sure why, but I was surprised to see Barbados on the list.
I want to go to New Zealand at some point!
Hwy, you’ve made it to Africa twice! That’s good 🙂
