Nothing popped into my head so I turned to my Goodreads lists. I looked at the books I've read that I've rated 5 stars and at the books I've categorized as romance. Apparently I don't read many historical romances. Contemporary, yes, paranormal, yes, romantic suspense, yes, but not so much historical. And the few that I have don't rate 5 stars. The only historical romance that hit both of those lists is one I read back in 2011, Yesterday's Tomorrow by Catherine West. It takes place during the Vietnam War, which is not the era I picture when I think of  Historical Romance, but it still counts, doesn't it?...

These days I mostly listen to soft rock or light pop. When I was growing up, my tastes leaned toward rock and pop. I remember listening to Bon Jovi, Guns 'n' Roses, Aerosmith, The Bangles, Black Crowes, etc.  And you couldn't help listening to Michael Jackson and Madonna. Gee, can you guess how old I am? We watched a lot when Amber was little, but not so much anymore, except fairy tale remakes occasionally.  I'm not even sure what the last animated movie I saw was. When I was trying to think of my favorite animated movie, one popped into my mind that I haven't watched in ages: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? It came out in theaters in 1988, but I feel like we probably watched it on video. It's in Wheeling, WV and is stacked full of used books, all genres. I just love it there. There isn't even a cat to make me sneeze. The world can be a dark place and it’s time to share something positive. For more info: My Favorite Meme. I'm not much of a traveller and really haven't been to that many cities. There are some I love reading about, Venice particularly, but that I've never actually been to. I think my favorite city, at least of those I've actually been to, is probably Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is the city we're closest too, about 45 minutes from downtown, so it's where we head for a lot of performances and sporting events. It has three major league sports teams, hockey, football and baseball, and a minor league soccer team. The National Aviary is there and the zoo is very nice. We love the museums, especially the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the Carnegie Museum of Art, but...
