This week:
Our weather has been so up and down lately. On the weekend it felt like spring, now we're back to winterish. Not much snow so far this year, but lots of rain. I'm hoping that trend holds. I'd rather have rain than snow any day.

I made my step goal for the week overall.
This week:
No formal exercise. The week was spent cleaning up after the holidays, hitting some after Christmas sales, and practicing the piano. The last few days have been too cold to even take the dog for a walk. Today should start a bit of a warm up for the end of the week.

We'll actually be eating out several days - we always have dinner at church on Wednesdays, Amber's birthday is this week and we're going out of town on Saturday.

I might have cheated a little bit on my steps this week. I've been practicing a lot on the piano and I think it's counting it as more steps than it really should. Of course, it does increase my heart rate a bit too, so I'm not really sure how it all works out.

My husband and daughter got me a Fitbit Blaze for Christmas. So far, I love it. I love that it shows me texts and notifies me of phone calls. I think one of my New Year's Resolutions is going to be put down my phone and I think this will help. If I can see when I get texts as long as I'm within 20 ft of my phone, I think I'll be less likely to just have it with me all the time and therefore less likely to pick it up and check facebook or play a game or whatever. It gives me hourly reminders to move if I haven't gone at least 250 steps. It also tracks exercise better and counts floors, which my old one didn't do. I just got this floor badge.
I didn't keep very good track of what I did this past week, with the holidays and David and Amber both not feeling up to par.
I...
My Fitbit doesn't want to sync today, so I'll update this with my steps when I can.

I usually listen to a book while I’m walking, jogging, whatever. This week I finished to The Santa Klaus Murder by Mavis Doriel Hay, which was not as good as I had hoped it would be.
Looking at my goals, I need to get more walks in. I'll need to head inside for a few. It's supposed to get colder soon. I've been doing good at hitting the gym once a week; I go while Amber's at one of her art classes.
