I almost didn't post today, that's how lousy my exercise routine has been lately, but I pushed myself yesterday to get my steps in and do some Pilates so I feel a little better.

We're going to a football game Friday, a band festival Saturday and the lake Sunday and Monday, so probably lots of burgers, pizza, and/or hot dogs.

I didn't make my step goal this week, but I had a pretty active weekend, so I think I'm okay with that. The weather's been hot and the dog just hasn't felt like taking walks. We'll go like 20 steps and he'll just stop and won't move until we turn around to go back home.

The “Catch for Cancer” was fun, even if we didn't break the world record. I'm not sure how short we were of the number.

How was your week?...
I actually did make it to the gym once this week. I felt kind of miserable Friday into Saturday. I think I picked up a cold. I feeling mostly better now, just a touch of the cough left.

This coming Saturday we are going up to Pittsburgh to play catch. It'll be a short game but the Pirates and Allegheny Health Network are organizing “Catch for Cancer” to draw attention to the importance of prostate cancer screenings. They're also trying to set a Guinness World Record for the largest game of catch. I'm hoping it'll be fun.
