We finally got our garden planted today- eggplants, cucumbers, zucchini, green beans, peppers, and lots and lots of tomatoes. It’s a lot of work, but nothing beats fresh veggies all summer.

Oh! I wish I would have done a small garden this year! Great picture!
If you end up with too many cucubmers, send some my way. 🙂
Is it possible not to end up with too many cucumbers?
Very nice! I agree, fresh veggies are the best. I didnt plant veggies this year, but have been tending to my flowers.
We have a small veggie garden (the caterpillars are eating the heck out of it already!), and belong to a CSA – love those fresh veggies all thru the growing season.
I agree, nothing beats those fresh veggies! We planted ours a few weeks ago and it’s coming along nicely. I’ll have to take a picture for next week. We planted beans, zucchini, carrots, peas, beets and potatoes. I can’t wait for the first batch of beans – they’re my favorite!
We were a little slow getting ours in this year. First we had so much rain and then we just got busy.
I finally got my warm weather veggies planted last week. Pretty much the same plants as you have. Now I need to get the bunny fencing up or I will have no veggies to eat but the bunnies will be well fed.
We got a chicken-wire fence up and this year we actually put wood planks all around the outside of it, an attempt to keep out the grass a little better.
