I’m not quick. But I am quicker than I was. I didn’t run at all until 2012. I started with the Couch to 5K program and have run on and off since then. I’m getting back into a routine now though, since it’s starting to warm up so I can run outside and I joined a gym, so if it’s raining I can do the treadmill.
I ran a 5K this morning. My time was 32:06, which is slightly quicker than I did the same course last year. I was happy. I think I could have gone a little quicker but there’s a couple of spots where it bottlenecks, especially the last few yards, and there’s just nowhere to go.

Good for you! I wish I could run, but my knees and heels bug me if I pound too hard on the pavement, so I walk my dog with friends a couple times a week …
Couch to 5K is such a great program. I never ran before but that plan made it easy to get started. I am pretty slow too but it’s nice to just get running.
You did awesome! Its always good when you can beat your time from last year!

Way to go! I walk but don’t think I could run with my knees.
Awesome
I love to walk, but I’ve never tried running. Maybe I’ll give it a try this summer.
Aw that’s awesome. Congrats 🙂
Happy A to Z-ing!

I’m not much for running, never have been, even as a kid!
I never ran as a kid. Actually, the first time I mentioned to my husband that I wanted to start running, his response was “no, you don’t.” Took me another two years to actually do it.
Yay! That’s great for a crowded 5K.
So impressed. I don’t do the running 😉
