Some more pictures from The Wilds. A couple are of some of the animals. The second is the inside of our yurt and the last two are from sunrise – a doggone bird woke me up at sunrise.

I really want to go there! What was sleeping like?
The bed was comfy. It was nice and quiet. Our yurt had a thermostat, and was a good temperature, even though it was a bit chilly outside. I will say that they mentioned that one of the deer species can be very loud during mating season, even at night- I don’t know what time of year that is. In the morning the birds woke me up at sunrise, but I can’t really complain about that – after all it is all about the animals.
Wow, the interior of the yurt looks cool – I want to stay in one now.
Oh how neat! What wonderful pictures Carol!
Looks like an amazing place to stay! Love the look of the yurt! If we ever get back to Ohio I’d like to stay at The Wilds!
The photos are beautiful, and how wonderful to be woken at dawn by birds and see views like that. My Snapshot is at http://chriscross53.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/recreating-medieval-abbey.html
Awesome photos 🙂
Ok, now I really need to stay in the yurt!!!
What a beautiful area. Love all the wildlife. Staying in a yurt sounds like fun- especially with creature comforts.
