Here are my steps for the week. I didn’t come anywhere near my goal of 9,000 steps a day. đ
My current plan is to do cardio on Tuesday (60 mins), upper body on Wednesday, cardio on Thursday (60 mins), a total body workout on Friday, cardio on Saturday (60+ mins), and a core workout on Monday. I’m also trying to do a 10 minute-ish Pilates workout each day.
Tuesday – 22 mins Pilates
Wednesday – 10 mins Pilates, 10 mins arms
Thursday – ran/walked for an hour at the park.
Saturday – took the dog for a walk
Sunday – went fishing
I usually listen to a book while I’m walking, jogging, whatever. This week I finished A Midsummerâs Equation by Keigo Higashino, Murder in a Wish-Book House by Wayne Zurl, and The Boscombe Valley Mystery by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I started The Rook by Daniel O’Malley.
My new goal (which shouldn’t really have to be a goal at all, but I have a bit of a sweet tooth) is to avoid snacking. So far, I’m doing pretty lousy. And i just baked a batch of oatmeal zucchini cookies last night – but at least they have zucchini, right?

How was your week? Readersâ Workouts is hosted by Joy at Joyâs Book Blog .
I’ve always wanted to try Pilates but haven’t, even though I have a few Pilates DVD’s.
I don’t even think about how fortunate I am to live in a walkable community. Listening to books while you walk is a great idea. Is there an app that you use to download books? Here’s My Readersâ Workout post
I have an Audible subscription. I also download some from the library via Overdrive.
Lol, at least that ;=D
Cool that you can get Sherlock Holmes in audio.
I go through spurts with snacking. I’ll do really well for a while and then I fall off the wagon, so to speak.
