I love restaurants – I admit it. It’s so hard to pick a favorite though. There’s Lidia’s, which I’ve only been to once but was delicious. There’s my favorite take-out Chinese place – Hong Kong Chinese. There’s my favorite pizza place – DiCarlo’s – but that probably doesn’t count, since you can’t actually eat there. There’s my favorite quick, close American food – Murray’s. My favorite Greek place – Theo Yianni’s, even though I haven’t been to their new building yet. And so many Italian places I love – Olive Garden, Naples, Mario’s.
I think my favorite though might be La Cucina. It’s close enough that we can eat there whenever we want. It has delicious pasta and desserts. I’m told the pizza and calzones are good too. It’s also the only place I’ve ever had Eggplant Timbali, which might be my favorite dish of all time. Below is their Italian trio. Yum!

I need to look up the meaning of Cucina since there’s a restaurant near us called Cucina 1000.

I hate when my favorite restaurants close. Or when restaurants take my favorite foods off the menu.

A lot of recipes seem to have a meat in with the pasta, but theirs doesn’t.

To be honest, I just like to eat out. It’s more relaxing than having to cook, and get everything on the table, and making sure Amber’s is seperated right, and then having to do dishes afterward.
