We’re talking about movies again this week. I don’t remember if there was a movie that I watched over and over when I was a kid, but there were a lot of good ones like Back to the Future and The Goonies. My favorite was probably The Great Muppet Caper (1981), the second of the Muppet movies. Kermit and the gang have to stop a jewel heist in London. I’m a huge Muppets fan in general, which some of you may know, and I love this movie.
It also has the Miss Piggy synchronized swimming scene, which is just amazing.

I feel sad because I don’t have a childhood movie fave…sigh!
That probably means you were doing better things than watching movies.
Probably stressing or playing with dolls…
Back to the Future! 🙂 I know I’ve seen the Muppet movies, but I have zero memories of them. 🙁
The Back to the Future movies were great. I’ve always loved Michael J. Fox.
I love the Muppets.
Me too. I still need to buy the Muppets Meet the Classics: The Phantom of the Opera book.
I wasn’t big on The Muppets growing up, but I did love the puppet work in The Labyrinth. I was introduced to The Goonies about 8 or so years ago and I love it. It’s a good fun and feel-good movie.
I have a weakness for puppets in general. I was sad when my daughter pretty much hated puppets when she was little. The Goonies is fun; I should rewatch it sometime.
I’ve never seen The Muppets. Somehow they just never sparked my interest.
Thanks for signing up and sharing your favorite.
The original Muppet show was on tv when I was a kid and I always loved them.
I loved The Muppets!!
Me too!
