I have been really inconsistent this summer with both blogging and exercising. I didn't make it to the gym this week. I think I need to start planning my time better. I seem to not get anything done even though in theory I have more time, since I get off work an hour earlier than I used to. This Week's Activities: None Current Audiobook: I'm still listening to 84K by Claire North. It's a little too long. I need to finish it so I can move on to something else. Dinners Tuesday - I don't remember Wednesday - hot dog and macaroni salad at church Thursday -  Five spice pork and noodles, which was kinda yucky Friday - Primanti's at the baseball game Saturday - Wendy's burger and fries because I burned my Spanish rice Sunday - Spaghetti and sauce Monday - Chicken enchiladas Looking ahead: Dinner ideas: Chili Stuffed baked potatoes Fried rice Maybe I'll try to make it to the gym tonight. Readers’ Workouts – 7/31

I really need to get out and walk more. The problem is the dog just doesn't want to walk lately. I don't know if it's the weather or the hills. On Wednesday, we went on a mile walk downtown, during a bike/walk event they had. He went the whole mile without complaining, but it was flat sidewalks, people around and all new smells. I tried taking him to a park yesterday, but apparently it just wasn't interesting enough.   This Week's Activities: Tuesday: FitGirl Booty Wednesday: FitGirl Abs, Walk downtown Thursday: Elliptical Current Audiobook: I'm still listening to American Eden: David Hosack, Botany, and Medicine in the Garden of the Early Republic by Victoria Johnson. I missed my step goal this week but not by much. And I'm averaging just over 6 hours of sleep. Readers’ Workouts – 7/10

I did pretty good hitting my step goal this week and I even made it to the gym once. I have not been so great at getting 8 hours of sleep though. This Week's Activities: Thursday - Elliptical Sunday - Yard work Current Audiobook: Finished The Word Is Murder by Anthony Horowitz. I think next up might be American Eden by Victoria Johnson. Meal ideas for next week: This week is tough for dinner. We have VBS at church, which means my husband heads straight over there after work. I made pizza pockets for tonight which are easy to grab and go. I'm thinking about making some taco pockets or veggie pita sandwiches for later this week. What do you eat when you don't have time to sit down? Then this weekend, we're heading to the lake, which usually means burgers and hotdogs on the grill and pizza.
