Readers’ Workouts – 7/10

I did pretty good hitting my step goal this week and I even made it to the gym once. I have not been so great at getting 8 hours of sleep though. This Week's Activities: Thursday - Elliptical Sunday - Yard work Current Audiobook: Finished The Word Is Murder by Anthony Horowitz. I think next up might be American Eden by Victoria Johnson. Meal ideas for next week: This week is tough for dinner. We have VBS at church, which means my husband heads straight over there after work. I made pizza pockets for tonight which are easy to grab and go. I'm thinking about making some taco pockets or veggie pita sandwiches for later this week. What do you eat when you don't have time to sit down? Then this weekend, we're heading to the lake, which usually means burgers and hotdogs on the grill and pizza. As I mentioned the other day, I have been crazy busy lately, between graduation stuff, new job and now this week my husband's out of town. I did manage to hit my step goal this week, but that's about all I've been doing, aside from eating way too much pasta. All graduation parties around here are pasta heavy. Is it that way everywhere? I got my steps in this week. Nothing else though.   This week's activities: Tuesday: Yoga Thursday & Friday: Campus tours. Amber's going to Oberlin in the fall and we spent Thursday and Friday at an admitted student event, which involved lots of walking. Monday: Walk with the dog Dinners: We didn't even eat at home much this week.
