Readers’ Workouts – 6/30

So, here are my steps for the week. At least I got my steps in overall for the week, even if I didn't hit my goal on a daily basis. Friday was the only day I missed - I worked 9-5 at my desk and then had a meeting at the church from 6-9. I'm giving up on any kind of plan for now. I'm just too busy to stick with it. Mid-July, it should settle down a bit. My goal is to get in at least 8,000 steps a day, 50 crunches and 10 (girly) push-ups. The rest'll just be icing. My week: Tuesday - 1 mile walk with the dog, 50 crunches, 10 push-ups Wednesday - 50 crunches, 10 push-ups Thursday - 50 crunches, 10 push-ups, 25 minutes on the elliptical Sunday -  1 mile walk, 50 crunches, 10 push-ups Monday - 50 crunches, 10 push-ups, 10 lunges I'm down 9.6 lbs from 5/19. Readers’ Workouts – 6/23

So, here are my steps for the week. At least I got my steps in overall for the week, even if I didn't hit my goal on a daily basis.   I'm giving up on any kind of plan for now. The rest'll just be icing.   My week: Saturday - Relay for Life - lots of walking in the rain Sunday - Fishing Monday - 20 minute walk, 50 crunches, 10 push-ups I'm down 9.2 lbs from 5/19. Readers’ Workouts – 6/16

So, here are my steps for the week. At least I got my steps in overall for the week, even if I didn't hit my goal on a daily basis.   And here's my current workout plan that I'm apparently just ignoring. Summer is so doggone busy. And I've been spending more time cooking. We're doing a Whole30, and actually cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner is way more time-consuming than having a bowl of cereal for breakfast and throwing together a sandwich for lunch. I may have to give in and start getting up early enough to exercise in the morning. :( I think I need to schedule a race so I have a goal I'm working toward again. My week: Sunday - 40 minutes of weights Monday - ¾ mile walk with the dog I'm down 8.4 lbs from 5/19. I usually listen to a book while I'm running or walking. Readers’ Workouts – 6/9

So, here are my steps for the week.   And here's my current workout plan. It's an 8-wk plan, but I've only got the first 4 below. I failed at week three, so I'm doing it again this week. I'm still getting into the swing of summer. My week: Tuesday - 1½ hours of weeding Saturday - Planted the garden. Sunday - 50 minutes on the elliptical (which I'm counting as Monday's 40 minute run), 20 minutes on arm machines at the gym. We went fishing in the evening which is kinda almost like exercise. Monday - ½ hour of strength exercises, including squats, lunges and crunches I'm doing a Whole30 this month, which means no added sugar, alcohol, grains, dairy or legumes. I've been posting food photos on Instagram. After the 30 days is over, the idea is to add those back into your diet one at a time and evaluate if it affects how you feel, sleep, etc. So far, what I miss most are pasta...

So, here are my steps for the week.   And here's my current workout plan. It's an 8-wk plan, but I've only got the first 4 below. I finished week 2 and started on week 3. My week: Tuesday - 1 mile walk with dog. 15 minutes of weights at home. Wednesday - 30 minute strength training- lunges, squats, push-ups, etc. Thursday - 7 hill sprints, 50 crunches, 10 push-up Saturday - 30 minute strength training- lunges, squats, push-ups, etc. 2 hrs of yard work Sunday - 1½ hours of weeding Monday - We went fishing and it was cold, so I ended up skipping my run. I'm doing a Whole30 this month,  which means no added sugar, alcohol, grains, dairy or legumes. I've been posting food photos on Instagram. So, here are my steps for the week.   And here's my current workout plan. It's an 8-wk plan, but I've only got the first 4 below. I finished week 1 and started on week 2. My week: Tuesday - 1 mile walk with dog. 15 minutes of weights at home. Wednesday - 6 hill sprints Friday - 30 minute strength training at home using the moves Vicki linked to last week Sunday - 45 minute run at the park I skipped Monday because we had a cook-out.
