Better fitness is one of my goals. To that end, I participate in the weekly Readers' Workouts, where we post our goals, plans, workouts, etc.
So, here are my steps for the week. I have been hitting my 8,000 goal consistently, even if just barely.
And here's my current workout plan. I just finished week 10, more or less. Actually mostly less, the Easter weekend threw me off my schedule. looking at the calendar, I'm going to have to vary this a bit. I'll do week 11 and 12, then skip 13.
Tuesday - 3 ½ mile run on the sidewalk on Main Street. My GPS wasn't working and I guessed wrong about how far. I did go out with my car later and check miles. 1 mile walk with David and the dog. Parts of this workout from Self using a 10-lb plate for 20 mins.
Wednesday - Workout from Self using a 10-lb plate and did reps instead of time to make it 30...

Tuesday - 4 mile run on the treadmill followed by 20 minutes on the leg and ab machines. It was a long 4 miles. :(
Wednesday - 15 minute ab workout. 15 minutes of dumbbell arm exercises.
Thursday - 60 minutes on the elliptical
Friday - 3 mile run on the treadmill on the hill setting
Sunday - 6 mile run on the treadmill. It's funny, but I think the 6 miles was easier than the 4 on Tuesday. I wish I knew what made the difference.
Monday - 1 mile walk with the dog
I almost always listen to audiobooks while I'm walking and running. This week I finished Shadow and Light and started Gorky Park.

Thursday - 1 mile walk with the dog. 30 minutes on the elliptical, 30 minutes on the recumbent bike
Saturday - 1 mile walk with the dog
Sunday - 5 mile run on the treadmill

And here's my current workout plan. I've backed up a little, to readjust to when my run is in May. I just finished week 7, more or less.
Tuesday - 4 miles on the treadmill followed by 20 minutes of arm machines.

Thursday - 60 minutes on the elliptical

Saturday - Campbell- Dickinson 5K. I ran it in 31:15. It was so cold and rainy though.
Sunday - 1 mile walk with the dog
Monday - 1 mile walk with the dog
How has your week been?
I registered for the Pittsburgh Pirates Charities 5K on April 18. It's one I've run the last two years and is always fun. It doesn't hurt that registration comes...
So, here are my steps for the week. Saturday we drove to Columbus for my nephews birthday party, so there was not much time to get any actual steps in. But look - I made my goal on Monday, a day I usually have trouble with.

It's actually hitting the 50s this week. I'm just hoping for not too much rain.
Tuesday - 20 mins of weight machines and then 3.5 miles on the elliptical
Wednesday - Did this workout from Self using a 10-lb plate and did reps instead of time to make it 30 mins.
Thursday - 60 minutes on the recumbent bike
Friday - 25 minutes on the elliptical. I had to go during my lunch hour, so that was pretty much my only option.
Sunday - 1 mile walk with the dog. 40 minutes on the elliptical. 60 minutes on the recumbent bike. 3 games of bowling.
Monday - 1...
So, here are my steps for the week. It could have been worse. I was so close on Friday but not making it made me less motivated to do it on Saturday - I had already broken the streak.

It snowed this past week. I'm still waiting for spring.
