So, here are my steps for the week. I need to do better at this. I was so close on Friday and Saturday, I just have just paced the room a bit. Once it warms up and I can take the dog for a walk at lunch it should improve.
And here's my current workout plan. I just finished week 5, more or less.
I was so cold this week. I can't wait for spring!
Tuesday - Ran 3 miles on the treadmill, then came home and did some weight-lifting with my husband
Wednesday - Did this workout from Self using a 10-lb plate and did reps instead of time to make it 30 mins.
Thursday - 60 minutes on the elliptical
Friday - 20 minutes on the step mill and a few ab exercises
Sunday - 4½ miles on the treadmill
How has your week been?

So, here are my steps for the week. I need to concentrate on moving more on my "off" days.
And here's my current workout plan. I just finished week 4, more or less.

So, here are my steps for the week. Not so great.
And here's my current workout plan. I just finished week 3, more or less.
I wish it were nicer out, I much prefer running outside; the treadmill is so boring. I think we're supposed to get more snow later this week. :(
Wednesday - Did this workout from Self using a 10-lb plate and did reps instead of time to make it 30 mins.
Thursday - 60 mins on the elliptical, going almost 5 miles it said.
Sunday - Ran .74 miles on the treadmill, took a short break, then ran 3.5 miles.
Monday - 15 minute ab workout from Bob Harper's Yoga DVD

So, here are my steps for the week. It's interesting that Monday, Wednesday and Friday are the days I work 9-5, at my desk all day. And it's been too cold to take the dog for a walk on lunch hour. I need to find a way to move more on those days. Suggestions?
And here's my current workout plan. I just finished week 2. I wish it were nicer out, I much prefer running outside; the treadmill is so boring.
Tuesday - Took the dog for a mile walk. Ran 2 miles on the treadmill. Did 30 minutes on the arm and ab machines.
Wednesday - Did this workout from Self using a 10-lb plate and did reps instead of time to make it 30 mins.
Thursday - Did 30 minutes on the elliptical, going just over 2.5 miles
Saturday - Ran 3 miles on the treadmill. (It was snowy Friday and supposed to snow Sunday, so I decided to go with the longer...
I'm tired of winter. And I've been pretty lazy. And not eating so well - evidenced by the McDonalds egg and cheese bagel I had for breakfast. At least I had them leave off the butter/breakfast sauce - that stuff is weird.
So, here are my steps for the week. I did walk to and from work yesterday, not because it's good for me but because the road was little snowier than I wanted to drive on. My Fitbit e-mail is carolsnotebook at yahoo dot com, if anyone wants to find me.
So, I have to start getting back in shape for spring and summer. I think I'm going to pull this plan back out. I kind of gave up on it last year. I need to start at week 2 to be ready for my run in May.

Finally, maybe, I'm making some progress getting moving again.
I made my step goal on Tuesday, even though you can't see it above. Yay! I took the dog for a walk, which definitely helped. I did a little bit of weightlifting in the evening, too.
I took a short walk on Thursday. And must have done something else too. Maybe I went to the gym? I can't remember.
We did go bowling on Sunday, so that counts as exercise, right?
Monday I was so close! I should have just stayed up and extra 15-20 minutes and walked around the living room.
And since eating and exercising are so closely related, I thought I'd include a new recipe I tried this week, Amish One-Pan Ground Beef and Cabaage from smilesandwich.com.
I know it's not pretty, but it was yummy! And so easy.
Amish One-Pan Ground Beef and Cabbage Skillet

1 pound grass-fed ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 - 1 head cabbage, chopped
