Summer 24-Hour Readathon

The Reverse Summer Readathon starts now! I love that it's running 8pm - 8am eastern this time around. I slept in this morning. I don't have anything in the schedule until Sunday morning. I'm looking forward to a lot of reading time. I'm prepared: I've got my snacks, I've got my books, I've got food for meals and plenty of coffee and pop. Updates will be here at the blog, instagram (@carolsnotebook), and twitter (@carolsnotebook). I'm starting tonight at the softball field (my husband's playing a triple-header this evening in the church softball league) but I have the Kindle app on my phone stocked. It's Read-a-thon time! It's Read-a-thon time! I actually probably won't get to start reading for a couple of hours - because I'm probably still asleep right now. I'm not good at waking up on Saturdays, even for readathons. Opening Meme 1 What fine part of the world are you reading from today? I'm in eastern Ohio. 2 Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? I'm actually winging it today. I'm going to start by finishing The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler and The Death of Mrs. Westaway by Ruth Ware. After that I'm not sure. 3 Which snack are you most looking forward to? I'm on my own for most of today. I'm having spaghetti and sauce for dinner and maybe an apple turnover. I also picked up some crackers and cheese. 4 Tell us a little something about yourself!
