Awards

I received a couple of awards this week that I wanted to share.

Freda, from Freda’s Voice, awarded me with the Humane Award. Thank you so much!

This award is to honor certain bloggers that are kindhearted individuals. They regularly take part in my blog and always leave the sweetest comments. If it wasn’t for them, my site would just be an ordinary book review blog. Their blogs are also amazing and are tastefully done on a daily basis. I thank them and look forward to our growing friendship through the blog world.

I want to pass this on to a few fellow bloggers.

And Ryan at Wordsmithonia gave me this cute award. Thank you so much! But now I want icing.

I’m supposed to list 10 things that make me happy, then pass this on to 10 other bloggers.

  1. Congrats on your awards Carol!!

I loved reading about your ten favorite things. 🙂 Packages in the mail are definitely the best. And mmm mmm mmm frosting is awesome!! I’m a huge fan.

Thanks for bestowing me with such a delicious award.

    HUGS, VFG

  2. Sure, maybe my blog doesn’t make you happy… or anyone but me, for that matter. So I can’t blame you for leaving me off the list. But, I’d still like to share a “10 Things That Make Me Happy” list (if I may).

    1) Peppermint Extra sugar free gum
    2) “#1 Uncle” magnets
    3) Spontaneous singing
    4) Faster running times
    5) Game night!
    6) Drugs, sex and rock ‘n’ roll (I think that counts as one)
    7) Heavier lifts in the gym
    8) When people misuse the words “impacted” and “evacuated” (e.g., “he really impacted me,” and “due to the alarm, we evacuated”)
    9) Leather goods
    10) Beer and pizza (yes, that’s one too)

Congratulations. Our ten happy things could be the same (well, except for insulated tennis shoes)! Thanks so much for passing the Humane award on to me. I accpet it proudly 🙂
