Mid-point of the 24-hour Read-a-thon

So, we're halfway through the read-a-thon. Here's my mid-point update. Time spent listening to audios - 1 hr, 40 mins Time spent reading - 2 hr, 55 mins Books finished (both of which I had started previously) - The Quick by Lauren Owen and Candy Corn Murder by Leslie Meier Mini-challenges completed - Halloween Preparation and Cover Escape Mid-Event Survey: 1 What are you reading right now? "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" by Edgar Allan Poe 2 How many books have you read so far? The end of two 3 What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon? I'm not really sure. 4 Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those? I knew I'd go out for lunch and had to practice the organ some this afternoon, so it wasn't a big deal. 24 Hour Readathon

It's Read-a-thon time! It's Read-a-thon time! I'm getting a bit of a slow start this morning, but I played Euchre a little bit later than I wanted to last night and when my alarm went off I ignore it and slept for another two hours. About me: 1 What fine part of the world are you reading from today? Eastern Ohio. Today's a bit cold by sunny. 2 Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? I don't know. Part of the problem is I don't really have a plan, just choosing books/stories willy-nilly. 3 Which snack are you most looking forward to? Pizza for dinner. We've been on a bit of a diet and haven't had pizza for a while. But did you know it's also National Pasta Day, which may mean spaghetti for lunch. 4 Tell us a little something about yourself!
