Week’s Highlight:
We did a lot of yardwork this week, trimming and planting and weeding. And David hung up my hammock chair.
Reading:
It’s Sci-Fi June and COYER Summer Hunt. I don’t read a lot of sci-fi generally, but I do tend to save those on my list for this time of year.
Last week’s posts:
- We by Yevgeny Zamyatin
- The Overnight Kidnapper by Andrea Camilleri
- Accessory to War by Neil deGrasse Tyson and Avis Lang
Watching:
We watched the first few episodes of Blood and Treasure. It’s not good, but it is fun.
Looking forward to:
Next weekend we’ve got a couple of graduation parties to go to. Then, Sunday, I have to head up to Lakeside for the annual meeting for work. I’m not really looking forward to it, but the evenings should be relaxing.
SciFi is not generally my thing either.
Have a great reading week, especially in that hammock
That hammock chair looks like the perfect spot for reading.
Exactly my plan!
Lovely reading chair!
I like it. Now to find time to relax and read.
I want a hammock! Is it too late for a Mother’s Day gift? Or shall I just buy one myself?
I just started We. I need to go see what you thought of it, I think.
Have a lovely week!
Totally buy one for yourself! Now I need to figure out how to take the time to relax in it without feeling like there’s something else I should be doing.
Enjoy your week.
Thanks! You too.
I started watching Blood and Treasure but I just couldn’t maintain it…love the swing!
There aren’t too many shows that all 3 of us don’t mind watching.
