I really did start this post on Sunday, but you know how that goes sometimes.

Week’s Highlight:
We had my mom and my brother and his family out for a cookout on Saturday. I failed to take any pictures, but it was a lot of fun.
Amber and I went to Phipps Conservatory on Friday. Their current show takes some of Van Gogh’s paintings and reinterprets them in flowers. It is gorgeous!

You can see yesterday’s post for how the Reverse Readathon went for me.
This week’s posts:
Watching:
We watched Hobbs and Shaw today. I thought it was fun.
Looking forward to:
There’s nothing really coming up on my calendar. I should plan something fun.
I love the interpretation of Van Gogh’s painting in flowers. Fabulous.
The cookout sounds like it was great, too.
I shall pop over and see how the Reverse Readathon went for you.
I hope you have a lovely week!
I like having Friday’s off in the summer. It lets us do things like go to the Conservatory that might be hard to fit in the limited number of Saturdays left before Amber goes back to school.
Love that Van Gogh in flowers. Very cool.
I’m glad we went up to see it. They had the butterfly garden going on too.
I would love to see the Van Gogh flower exhibit. Lovely! Have a great week.
It was gorgeous and just a really cool idea too.
Thank you for the link to the Readathon. I’ll be going over to have a look too.
I do enjoy readathons, even if I never get to read as much as I’d like.
Family cookouts are fun! I am glad you had a good time. I would have loved to have seen exhibit at Phipps Conservatory. I imagine it was beautiful. I am glad you liked Hobbs & Shaw. We went to see Dora today at my daughter’s request. She loved it. I was pleasantly surprised, although there were aspects I could have done without. That cartoon used to drive me crazy. Haha. I hope you had a great week and enjoy your weekend!
We used to watch the Dora cartoon. I’m glad you enjoyed the movie. My daughter and I were talking about who the intended audience was. Do kids still watch Dora?
I forgot to follow up with your Reverse Readathon. Two books done. That’s pretty good. I think that’s what I had too.
I was happy enough with it. I wish I could one day just do a readathon, with nothing else on my schedule, but even when I plan it that way something seems to come up.
