Week’s Highlight:
Our church had its celebration weekend for the opening of our new addition. There was a worship concert, a “revival” evening, and tonight was the Children and Youth Rally. David made the cross hanging on the wall.

I’m having trouble getting into Middlemarch. It’s just not holding my attention yet and I’m having trouble keeping track of who’s who, maybe because I’m listening to the audio rather than reading it in print.
Last week’s posts:
Fitness:
Yesterday was my 19th day in a row of getting all four circles on my fitbit: distance, calories burned, stairs, and active minutes. I’m pretty proud of myself.
Looking forward to:
Saturday we’re going to see the Cloak and Dagger On the Air show. It should be fun, and it doesn’t hurt that we won the tickets.
I just purchased MIddlemarch not long ago – I will have to be in the “right mood” to start reading it! LOL Hope you have a great reading week!
I think that with all the dreary, cool weather I need quicker moving books. I might put Middlemarch off a bit until it actually feels like Spring.
It looks like the building opening celebration was a huge success. The cross on the wall is beautiful.
I remember getting confused with all the characters in Middlemarch, too. I’ve come to a standstill with War and Peace ever since I took two weeks off during my trip to France. I need to get back to it before I feel like I’m so far behind that I can’t catch up.
Congratulations on meeting your fitness goals for seventeen days in a row.
Have a lovely week!
I’ve taken a break from Middlemarch too for a few mysteries. And I need new headphones, so that doesn’t help.
Nineteenth…
Congratulations on the good work with your Fitbit! Keep it up!
Getting into classic books can be tough – I can see how some of them might not work well on audio.
Usually I don’t have much trouble with audios. Maybe I’m just not in the mood.
Yay on the Fitbit stats!!!
My husband thinks I’m a little nuts for going up and down the stairs until I get the 10 I need.
Way to go on your fitness goals!! Hope it’s another great week 🙂
Thanks! I’m kind of proud of myself.
That cross is amazing! And great job on the Fitbit.
He did a nice job with it.
